Spain, Guatemala - In post-production

STORYLINE

Thirteen years after leading a participatory filmmaking workshop in an Indigenous village in Guatemala, filmmaker Mariona returns to reconnect with the children who took part, now adults. As they revisit the short film they created together, childhood dreams collide with the realities of adulthood. The reunion also unsettles Mariona, confronting her with questions about representation and the ethics of filmmaking. The film gradually shifts its gaze, becoming a shared reflection on who has the right to tell someone else’s story.
